Fireflies has always emphasized the importance of art in creating convivial societies. The Art Village today includes a sculptor unit in granite. The Art Village has a strong social and ecological emphasis. The Fireflies artists include Sahadevan, Caroline Mackenzie, Azad, Muniyandi, Viju K.Damodaran, Baijunath N.K., and Ramesh. Siddhartha, the founder of the Fireflies Ashram is the artistic director.
